However, it struggled with finely engrained debris and didn't always remove raised thresholds in rooms. The operating level of the sound is also quite high, so this model might not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water, empty the dust bin as well as wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop) unlike other vacuums.
It also has some outstanding highlights, such as an automatic emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can get to areas other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile rug. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have several types of flooring in your house and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that is able to manage regular maintenance and touch-ups on messy messes that are wet, this robot is a great option. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings through the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it can navigate between furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to take care of the tangled tassels of rugs and its battery drains a little quicker than other models in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. 8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for those who live in cramped spaces. It's quiet and quick and does a great job of navigating tight spots. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its competition however it doesn't compromise features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming but isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
